Sinopsis:

Suatu hari seorang dewa kematian bernama Ryuk bosan dengan hidupnya yang monoton, dengan sengaja dia menjatuhkan Death Note nya ke dunia manusia dan berharap mendapatkan keseruan dalam hidupnya. Death Note tersebut di temukan oleh seorang pelajar jenius di Jepang yaitu Light Yagami. Light kemudian memanfaatkan kekuatan Death Note untuk membangun dunia impiannya yaitu dunia tanpa ada kejahatan di dalamnya dengan dirinya sebagai dewa.
